Product Standards & Quality Policy
Virgin Islands Exotics, LLC (“VI Exotics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to maintaining high standards for the products offered under the VI Exotics name.
Our approach to quality extends beyond appearance alone. Product selection, batch documentation, laboratory information, packaging integrity, identification, storage, handling, and regulatory considerations may all form part of our review before a product is made available.
Every product offered by VI Exotics must meet our internal standards for quality, documentation, packaging, and compliance before it is made available.
Our Product Standard
VI Exotics is built around a commitment to premium product quality, consistency, transparency, and presentation.
We may evaluate products based on characteristics including:
- Overall product quality and condition
- Appearance and structure
- Aroma and other natural characteristics
- Freshness and condition
- Batch identification and traceability
- Available laboratory documentation
- Cannabinoid information
- Packaging integrity
- Compliance labeling
- Storage and handling
- Applicable legal and regulatory considerations
- Overall suitability for the VI Exotics brand
Meeting a legal definition or laboratory threshold alone does not necessarily mean that a product meets VI Exotics' internal quality standards.
Product Selection
VI Exotics determines which products are appropriate to offer under its name.
Products may be evaluated before being approved for availability, and VI Exotics reserves the right to reject, withhold, remove, or discontinue any product or batch that does not meet our standards or that we otherwise determine should not be offered.
A product does not become part of the VI Exotics selection simply because it is available to us.
Our selection decisions may consider quality, documentation, compliance, customer experience, and other legitimate business factors.
Batch Review & Identification
Products may be organized and tracked by batch or lot to support traceability and accurate product documentation.
Where applicable, VI Exotics reviews available batch information and associated documentation before the product is packaged or made available.
Batch identification helps connect the product to applicable laboratory information, compliance labeling, and internal records.
Laboratory Documentation
Where applicable, VI Exotics maintains or provides access to laboratory documentation associated with individual product batches.
Laboratory information may be considered as part of our product review and compliance process.
A Certificate of Analysis (“COA”) provides analytical information concerning the tested sample associated with a particular batch. It does not by itself represent every aspect of product quality or guarantee suitability for every customer, purpose, or jurisdiction.

Compliance Review
VI Exotics considers applicable legal and regulatory requirements when determining whether a product may be offered, shipped, delivered, or otherwise fulfilled.
A product that satisfies VI Exotics' quality expectations may still be restricted or unavailable because of legal, regulatory, licensing, jurisdictional, carrier, or other compliance considerations.
Quality approval does not override compliance requirements.

Packaging Standards
VI Exotics considers packaging an important part of product quality, protection, presentation, and traceability.
Products should be packaged in a manner appropriate for the product and applicable requirements.
Where applicable, packaging may incorporate:
- Product identification
- Net weight
- Batch or lot information
- Cannabinoid information
- Compliance labeling
- Laboratory or COA access
- Required warnings or disclosures
- Tamper-evident, child-resistant, or other features where required by applicable law
Packaging requirements may vary based on the product and jurisdiction.
Packaging Integrity
VI Exotics may inspect products or packaging for visible damage, compromised seals, contamination concerns, improper labeling, or other conditions that could affect quality, safety, compliance, or customer experience.
Products with packaging that we determine to be materially compromised may be withheld from sale or fulfilment.
Customers should contact VI Exotics if they receive a product with packaging that appears materially damaged, opened, improperly sealed, or otherwise compromised.
Compliance Labels
Where applicable, VI Exotics may apply a batch-specific compliance label containing information associated with the particular product or lot.
The information displayed may include cannabinoid concentrations, batch identification, laboratory references, QR codes, net weight, or other information appropriate or required for the applicable product or jurisdiction.
Customers should review the compliance label together with the corresponding product documentation.
Storage & Handling
VI Exotics takes reasonable measures to maintain product quality during storage, packaging, handling, and fulfilment while products remain within our control.
Hemp flower is a natural agricultural product and may be affected by environmental conditions including excessive heat, moisture, humidity, light, air exposure, and improper storage.
Customers are responsible for appropriate storage and handling after receiving a product.
Natural Product Variation
Hemp flower is a natural agricultural product.
Natural variation may occur in:
- Appearance
- Color
- Size
- Structure
- Density
- Aroma
- Moisture
- Terpene profile
- Cannabinoid concentration
- Other naturally occurring characteristics
Even flower from the same strain or batch may not be visually identical from one individual piece to another.
Natural variation does not necessarily indicate a quality defect.
Product Images & Representations
Photographs and other visual representations may be used to illustrate products.
Because hemp flower is naturally variable, an individual product may differ somewhat in appearance from photographs or other representations.
VI Exotics does not guarantee that every individual piece of flower will be visually identical to a photograph, sample, or previous batch.
Cannabinoid & Potency Variation
Cannabinoid concentrations may vary between strains, harvests, and batches.
Customers should rely on the laboratory documentation and compliance information associated with the specific batch or lot they receive rather than assuming that results from a previous batch apply to a later one.
VI Exotics does not guarantee a particular subjective experience, effect, intensity, or perceived potency based solely on laboratory values.
Quality Concerns
If a customer believes a product has a genuine quality issue, the customer should contact VI Exotics promptly.
We may request information reasonably necessary to evaluate the concern, including:
- Product or strain name
- Batch or lot information
- Photographs
- Packaging information
- Description of the concern
- Order or transaction information
VI Exotics may review the product documentation and circumstances before determining an appropriate resolution.
Eligible refunds, replacements, credits, or other remedies are governed by our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy and applicable law.
Products That Do Not Meet Our Standards
VI Exotics reserves the right to reject, quarantine, withhold, remove, discontinue, or decline to fulfil a product or batch when we reasonably determine that it does not meet our quality, documentation, packaging, compliance, or brand standards.
This may occur even if the product could otherwise legally be offered.
VI Exotics may also stop offering a product when new information raises a reasonable concern regarding its documentation, quality, packaging, regulatory status, or suitability for the VI Exotics brand.
No Guarantee of Identical Batches
While VI Exotics strives for consistency, agricultural products naturally vary.
A customer's positive experience with one batch does not guarantee that another batch will be identical in appearance, aroma, cannabinoid profile, terpene profile, moisture, density, or subjective characteristics.
Each applicable batch should be evaluated using the information associated with that specific batch.
No Medical or Therapeutic Representation
VI Exotics' internal product standards concern product quality, documentation, presentation, and compliance.
A product meeting VI Exotics' standards does not mean that the product has been determined to provide a medical, therapeutic, health, or wellness benefit.
VI Exotics does not market its products as intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
FDA Disclaimer
VI Exotics products have not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of any disease or medical condition.
Meeting VI Exotics' internal product standards, passing an internal review, undergoing laboratory testing, or being accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis does not constitute or imply FDA approval, certification, authorization, or endorsement.
Continuous Quality Review
VI Exotics may continue reviewing its product standards as our products, operations, laboratory practices, packaging systems, regulatory requirements, and quality-control processes evolve.
We reserve the right to strengthen or modify our internal standards when we determine that doing so better protects product quality, compliance, or the customer experience.
Policy Updates
VI Exotics may modify this policy to reflect changes in our product standards, quality-control practices, packaging systems, laboratory practices, product offerings, applicable law, regulatory requirements, or business operations.
The most current version of this policy will always be available on viexotics.com.
