Product Standards & Quality Policy

Virgin Islands Exotics, LLC (“VI Exotics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to maintaining high standards for products offered under the VI Exotics name.

Our approach to quality extends beyond appearance alone. Product selection, condition, batch documentation, laboratory information, packaging integrity, traceability, storage, handling, presentation, and applicable compliance considerations may all form part of our review before a product is made available.

Products offered under the VI Exotics name are evaluated against our internal standards for quality, documentation, packaging, presentation, traceability, and compliance.

THE VI EXOTICS STANDARD

VI Exotics is built around a commitment to premium product quality, consistency, transparency, presentation, and customer experience.

Products may be evaluated based on characteristics including:

  • Overall quality and condition

  • Appearance and structure

  • Aroma and other natural characteristics

  • Freshness and condition

  • Batch or lot identification and traceability

  • Available laboratory documentation

  • Cannabinoid information

  • Packaging integrity

  • Compliance labeling

  • Storage and handling

  • Applicable legal and regulatory considerations

  • Overall suitability for the VI Exotics brand

Meeting a particular legal definition, laboratory threshold, or minimum regulatory requirement does not necessarily mean that a product meets VI Exotics' internal quality standards.

Compliance establishes whether a product may be eligible. VI Exotics determines whether it meets our standard.

Internal quality approval does not constitute a guarantee that a product is identical to another batch, free from every possible defect or naturally occurring variation, lawful in every jurisdiction, or appropriate for every person or purpose.

PRODUCT SELECTION

VI Exotics determines which products are appropriate to offer under the VI Exotics name.

Products may be evaluated before being approved for availability.

VI Exotics may reject, withhold, quarantine, remove, withdraw, discontinue, or decline to offer any product, batch, or lot that we reasonably determine does not meet applicable quality, documentation, traceability, packaging, compliance, presentation, or brand standards.

A product does not become part of the VI Exotics selection merely because it is available to us or satisfies a minimum legal, regulatory, or laboratory requirement.

Selection decisions may consider:

  • Product quality

  • Condition

  • Documentation

  • Consistency

  • Traceability

  • Compliance

  • Packaging

  • Presentation

  • Source information

  • Customer experience

  • Other legitimate quality or business considerations

SOURCE BATCH & LOT REVIEW

Products may be identified and tracked by batch or lot to support traceability, quality control, inventory management, and accurate product documentation.

Where applicable, VI Exotics may review available source-batch information and associated documentation before a product is approved or made available.

VI Exotics may assign an internal lot identifier while preserving a traceable connection between that lot and applicable source-batch and laboratory information.

Batch and lot identification may help connect a finished VI Exotics product to:

  • Applicable laboratory documentation

  • Product information

  • Packaging records

  • Source information

  • Internal records

  • Other documentation reasonably relevant to quality or compliance

An internal VI Exotics lot identifier does not replace or alter the original source-batch or laboratory information associated with the product.

LABORATORY DOCUMENTATION

Where applicable, VI Exotics maintains or provides access to laboratory documentation associated with individual product batches or lots.

Laboratory information may be considered as part of product selection, quality-control, traceability, classification, and compliance processes.

A Certificate of Analysis (“COA”) provides analytical information concerning the particular tested sample associated with a batch or lot.

A COA does not, by itself:

  • Describe every characteristic of a product

  • Guarantee identical characteristics throughout a batch

  • Guarantee a particular subjective experience

  • Establish that a product is free from every possible contaminant or condition not included in the applicable testing

  • Guarantee suitability or availability for every customer, purpose, destination, or jurisdiction

  • Constitute governmental approval or endorsement

VI Exotics may reasonably rely on appropriate batch-specific laboratory documentation generated by an independent third-party laboratory and supplied directly or indirectly through an applicable producer, manufacturer, processor, distributor, supplier, packager, or other source unless we have reason to believe that the documentation is inaccurate, incomplete, altered, unreliable, inconsistent, or otherwise insufficient.

THIRD-PARTY SOURCES & QUALITY INFORMATION

VI Exotics may receive products, packaging, testing information, product specifications, documentation, or other information from independent suppliers, producers, manufacturers, processors, laboratories, packagers, distributors, fulfillment providers, or other third parties.

VI Exotics may reasonably rely on information provided by those sources unless we have reason to believe that the information is inaccurate, incomplete, unreliable, or inconsistent with other available information.

VI Exotics does not control every independent third party's operations, manufacturing or cultivation practices, laboratory procedures, storage conditions, packaging processes, or internal quality systems.

Where a reasonable concern arises, VI Exotics may:

  • Request additional documentation

  • Seek clarification

  • Require additional review or testing where appropriate

  • Quarantine or withhold a product

  • Decline to rely on particular documentation

  • Restrict availability

  • Discontinue a product or batch

  • Take another reasonable quality or compliance action

VI Exotics will not knowingly misrepresent material product or laboratory information presented to customers.

COMPLIANCE REVIEW

VI Exotics considers applicable legal and regulatory requirements when determining whether a product may be offered, shipped, delivered, picked up, distributed, or otherwise fulfilled.

A product that satisfies VI Exotics' quality expectations may nevertheless be restricted or unavailable because of:

  • Legal requirements

  • Regulatory requirements

  • Licensing or permitting requirements

  • Jurisdictional restrictions

  • Testing requirements

  • Documentation requirements

  • Packaging or labeling requirements

  • Carrier requirements

  • Fulfillment restrictions

  • Other compliance considerations

Quality approval does not override compliance requirements.

Product classification, quality approval, and jurisdiction eligibility are separate determinations.

PACKAGING STANDARDS

VI Exotics considers packaging an important part of product protection, presentation, traceability, and the overall customer experience.

Eligible products may be placed into VI Exotics-branded packaging through packaging or fulfillment methods determined appropriate for the applicable product and jurisdiction.

Where licensing, authorization, facility, packaging, labeling, or other regulatory requirements apply, packaging may be performed through appropriately authorized persons, facilities, suppliers, processors, packagers, or other third parties as required or appropriate.

Depending on the product and applicable requirements, packaging or an applied compliance label may include:

  • Product identification

  • Net weight

  • Batch or lot information

  • Cannabinoid information

  • Laboratory or COA access

  • Compliance information

  • Required warnings or disclosures

  • Tamper-evident features where applicable

  • Child-resistant features where applicable

  • Other information or features required or appropriate under applicable law

Packaging requirements may vary by product, destination, fulfillment method, and applicable requirements.

VI Exotics may modify packaging, labeling, or related fulfillment practices when reasonably necessary to maintain product quality or satisfy applicable requirements.

PACKAGING INTEGRITY

VI Exotics may inspect or review products and packaging for conditions including:

  • Visible damage

  • Compromised seals

  • Contamination concerns

  • Incorrect or incomplete labeling

  • Evidence of tampering

  • Packaging defects

  • Moisture or environmental concerns

  • Other conditions that could reasonably affect quality, integrity, traceability, compliance, or customer experience

A product or package that VI Exotics determines to be materially compromised may be quarantined, withheld, removed from availability, or otherwise restricted.

Customers should contact VI Exotics promptly if they receive a product with packaging that appears materially:

  • Damaged

  • Opened

  • Improperly sealed

  • Tampered with

  • Contaminated

  • Incorrectly labeled

  • Otherwise compromised

Customers should retain the product and packaging where safe and lawful until VI Exotics provides appropriate instructions.

STORAGE & HANDLING

VI Exotics takes reasonable measures intended to support product quality during storage, handling, packaging, and fulfillment while applicable products remain within our control.

Cannabis flower is a natural agricultural product and may be affected by environmental conditions including:

  • Excessive heat

  • Moisture

  • Humidity

  • Light

  • Air exposure

  • Contamination

  • Improper storage or handling

Customers are responsible for appropriate storage and handling after receiving a product.

VI Exotics cannot guarantee that product characteristics will remain unchanged after improper storage, handling, transfer, contamination, repackaging, or environmental exposure occurring after the product leaves our control.

NATURAL PRODUCT VARIATION

Cannabis flower is a natural agricultural product.

Natural variation may occur in characteristics including:

  • Appearance

  • Color

  • Size

  • Structure

  • Density

  • Aroma

  • Moisture

  • Terpene profile

  • Cannabinoid concentration

  • Texture

  • Other naturally occurring characteristics

Even flower associated with the same strain, harvest, batch, or lot may not be visually or physically identical from one individual portion to another.

Natural variation does not necessarily indicate:

  • A quality defect

  • Product substitution

  • Incorrect labeling

  • Inconsistency with applicable batch documentation

  • Failure to meet VI Exotics standards

Whether a condition constitutes a genuine quality concern depends on the applicable product and circumstances.

PRODUCT IMAGES & REPRESENTATIONS

Photographs, videos, illustrations, animations, graphics, and other visual representations may be used to present or illustrate VI Exotics products.

Because cannabis flower is naturally variable, an individual product may differ in appearance from:

  • Photographs

  • Videos

  • Samples

  • Previous batches

  • Promotional materials

  • Other product representations

VI Exotics does not guarantee that every individual piece of flower will be visually identical to a photograph, sample, or previously offered product.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, product imagery should not be interpreted as a guarantee of exact:

  • Size

  • Color

  • Shape

  • Structure

  • Density

  • Moisture

  • Appearance

  • Other naturally variable characteristics

Product photography and representations also may be affected by lighting, camera equipment, display settings, image processing, screen calibration, or other presentation factors.

CANNABINOID & BATCH VARIATION

Cannabinoid concentrations and other analytical characteristics may vary between strains, harvests, source batches, samples, and lots.

Customers should review laboratory documentation and product information associated with the specific batch or lot they receive rather than assuming that information from another or previous batch applies.

VI Exotics does not guarantee a particular subjective experience, effect, intensity, onset, duration, or perceived potency based solely on:

  • Cannabinoid concentrations

  • Laboratory values

  • Strain names

  • Product descriptions

  • Marketing terminology

  • Previous experiences

  • Experiences reported by another person

QUALITY & SAFETY CONCERNS

If a customer believes a product has a genuine quality, packaging, labeling, contamination, or other product concern, the customer should contact VI Exotics promptly.

VI Exotics may request information reasonably necessary to evaluate the concern, including:

  • Product or strain name

  • Batch or lot information

  • Photographs

  • Packaging information

  • Description of the concern

  • Transaction information

  • Storage or handling information where relevant

  • Other information reasonably related to the issue

VI Exotics may review:

  • Applicable laboratory documentation

  • Product characteristics

  • Packaging

  • Source information

  • Batch or lot records

  • Storage circumstances

  • Photographs

  • Customer information

  • Other relevant evidence

before determining an appropriate response.

Eligible refunds, replacements, credits, recalls, or other remedies are governed by our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy and applicable law.

CONTAMINATION OR MATERIAL DEFECT CONCERNS

Where VI Exotics reasonably believes a product may be contaminated, materially defective, improperly labeled, compromised, or otherwise inappropriate for continued availability, VI Exotics may immediately:

  • Quarantine the product

  • Suspend availability

  • Stop fulfillment

  • Request additional documentation

  • Seek additional testing or review

  • Notify an applicable supplier or third party

  • Contact affected customers where appropriate

  • Withdraw or discontinue the product

  • Take another reasonable quality, safety, or compliance measure

The existence of a customer complaint does not by itself establish that a product is contaminated or defective.

VI Exotics may investigate the circumstances before reaching a determination except where immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety or compliance.

PRODUCTS THAT DO NOT MEET OUR STANDARDS

VI Exotics may reject, quarantine, withhold, remove, withdraw, discontinue, or decline to fulfill a product or batch when we reasonably determine that it does not meet our quality, documentation, packaging, traceability, compliance, presentation, or brand standards.

This may occur even where the product could otherwise satisfy minimum legal or regulatory requirements.

VI Exotics may also restrict or discontinue a product when new information raises a reasonable concern regarding:

  • Quality

  • Condition

  • Documentation

  • Laboratory information

  • Packaging

  • Traceability

  • Regulatory status

  • Product safety

  • Source information

  • Suitability for the VI Exotics brand

Removal or discontinuation of one batch does not necessarily mean that another batch or product presents the same concern.

RECALLS WITHDRAWALS & CORRECTIVE ACTIONS

VI Exotics may restrict, suspend, withdraw, recall, or discontinue a product when reasonably necessary to address a quality, safety, laboratory, supplier, regulatory, legal, or compliance concern.

Where appropriate, VI Exotics may provide customers with instructions relating to:

  • Continued possession

  • Storage

  • Use

  • Return

  • Disposal

  • Replacement

  • Refund or other remedy

  • Other corrective action

Customers should follow applicable recall, safety, return, or disposal instructions.

Any required remedy will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy.

NO GUARANTEE OF IDENTICAL BATCHES

While VI Exotics seeks consistency, cannabis flower and other agricultural products naturally vary.

A customer's experience with one product or batch does not guarantee that another product or batch will be identical in:

  • Appearance

  • Aroma

  • Cannabinoid profile

  • Terpene profile

  • Moisture

  • Density

  • Structure

  • Flavor

  • Subjective experience

  • Other naturally variable characteristics

Each applicable batch or lot should be evaluated using the product information and documentation associated with that specific batch or lot.

NO GUARANTEE OF SUBJECTIVE EXPERIENCE

VI Exotics quality standards concern product condition, documentation, presentation, traceability, packaging, selection, and other characteristics evaluated by the company.

Those standards should not be interpreted as a promise or guarantee of:

  • A particular subjective experience

  • A particular effect

  • A particular perceived potency

  • A particular level of satisfaction

  • Suitability for every person

  • Identical characteristics among products or batches

Terms used to describe quality, product characteristics, strain classification, aroma, appearance, or other attributes do not guarantee a particular individual response or experience.

Individual experiences may vary.

INTERNAL STANDARDS ARE NOT A LEGAL OR GOVERNMENTAL CERTIFICATION

Approval of a product under VI Exotics' internal standards is an internal business and quality determination.

It does not independently constitute:

  • Governmental approval

  • Regulatory certification

  • Legal advice

  • A guarantee of legal status in every jurisdiction

  • A guarantee of product safety for every individual

  • A guarantee that every possible characteristic, contaminant, or risk has been tested

  • FDA approval or authorization

Applicable legal and regulatory requirements remain controlling.

NO MEDICAL OR THERAPEUTIC REPRESENTATION

VI Exotics' internal product standards concern matters such as quality, documentation, presentation, traceability, packaging, and compliance.

A product meeting VI Exotics standards does not mean that the product has been determined to provide a medical, therapeutic, health, or wellness benefit.

VI Exotics does not market its products as intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

VI Exotics may continue reviewing and improving its product standards as our:

  • Products

  • Operations

  • Sourcing

  • Supplier relationships

  • Laboratory practices

  • Packaging systems

  • Regulatory requirements

  • Quality-control processes

  • Customer feedback

  • Business operations

evolve.

VI Exotics may strengthen, modify, or replace internal standards when we reasonably determine that doing so better supports product quality, compliance, traceability, presentation, or customer experience.

A product or batch previously approved under VI Exotics standards may be reevaluated when new information becomes available.

COMPLIANCE TAKES PRIORITY

VI Exotics may restrict, quarantine, withhold, suspend, withdraw, or discontinue a product when reasonably necessary to address a quality, documentation, testing, traceability, packaging, regulatory, legal, safety, or other compliance concern.

Compliance takes priority over completing a transaction.
